After such a training course,
a large discussion was made inside the school community: why doing
philosophy for children? Might practising dialogue foster thinking,
emotional, social skills?
Through such a process
of inquire, some of the teachers started to accept the idea of a
negotiated curriculum, constructed by looking at the children and their
educative needs.
Now
philosophy for children is considered as an educative proposal to develop
human being in his/her own global dimension.
